What the heck is up with this board?

Posts are out of order and are appearing in the wrong forum. And some options are invisible. You have to hover around to find the "New Topic" button.

The same geniuses that created the Obamacare website must be at work here..... :-(

For me I can't see New Topic, Reply or Login. It must be a button issue. When I highlight the blank area where those buttons should be the text is visible and I know where to click. I emailed the RS webmaster. hopefully others do the same and email them.

Also have you noticed some replies are now showing up under a persons reply and not the origainal message and it starts to look funny going in a diagonal down the screen.

Also long posts taht go past the size of your username to the left wrap around fully to the screen. The old one that onlywrapped the area of the message was nicer and cleaner to look at.

Your are both late to the party. Go to General Europe and see Travel Forum Feedback.

What Frank's truncated post was saying was, go to General Europe and look around the top line (it moves around sometimes) for a post from the Webmaster called "Travel Forum Feedback" and you can see the discussions about the new look.

You can also see in the welcome page to the Helpline a message from the Webmaster.

Michael,

As Frank and Nigel have so eloquently pointed out, there are some changes and improvements taking place with the HelpLine. As with any new venture (especially involving computers), there are a few "bugs" to work out. Be patient, it will all work out in the end.

Cheers!

The Webmaster replied to my question about it, try using Chrome or a newer version of what you are currently using. Some posts have gone missing for 10/30, they are working on it.

I'm probably not the only one who has noticed a lot of posts from 2006-2009 that have randomly appeared.

Now, a general complaint. Anyone else besides me find websites throughout the internet much more difficult to navigate now that they're trying to publish their pages in a more "tablet-friendly" format? Slate.com is now virtually unusable...

Very soon we might be able to sign up for Obamacare on this website since apparently the same crack team of software gurus designed both. I'm pretty sure my 12 year old could do a better job.

As Ken from Vernon says (see above) it will all work out in the end but in the meantime some people are giving good advice to posters who asked for and completed their travels in 2007, because these ancient posts have bobbed to the top for who knows what reason. Look at the dates, people!

I am sure the 12 year old is a genius and takes after the father. Comments like that are not very appropriate or very helpful. If nothing changes in month, then you can be bombastic. Till then lets see if we can provide comments that are helpful in solving the problems.

Like button for Frank...

thumbs down for George...

I don't like it either but lets give the guy a break.

This Forum is not the place for political diatribe.

We didn't laugh at the joke when you posted it at the top of this thread. It didn't need repeating. It wasn't that good.

@Nigel, Frank and others, thanks for being the voices of reason. Apparently this is the biggest board and has the most hiccups.
