What subway train to take in Rome to get to Tuburetina?

Hello,
Sorry for such a specific question, however, I am having trouble figuring out which subway train or bus to take from the Boscolo Hotel Borromini Rome (address is via lisbona , 7 )to the tiburetina train station to catch the bus to get to sorrento..
I haven't been able to find any websites where you can input your address and it will tell you which train/bus to take..Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Grazie!

Lisa,

To begin with, taking the train to Sorrento would probably be a faster and easier trip than by Bus. The trip would involve "regular" train to Naples and then the Circumvesuviana to Sorrento.

I don't believe there are any Metro stations close to your Hotel, so the easiest and simplest solution would be to take a Taxi to Tiburtina station. The closest Metro appears to be Spagna. You'd have to travel from there to Termini on the "A" line and then transfer to the "B" line for the trip to Tiburtina. I can't comment on Buses, as I rarely use them.

Hopefully someone else will have an easy solution for you.

Happy travels!

Metro Line B stop "Castro Pretorio" isn't far from your hotel - ask if there is a bus that can take you there. Line B is the same line as Tibertina.

Lisa....you can check your route at the ATAC Roma site, the public transit operation in Rome. It's in English. You can enter the date and approximate time you'll be travelling. It'll even give you walking directions from your location to the nearest bus/metro stop. You can zoom in on the map to get more detail. It appears you have a walk of about 600 meters (yards) from your apartment to the nearest bus stop on Via Liegi near Via Vicenzo Bellini, taking the number 3 bus five stops to Via Le Regina Margherita at Morgagni, then a 200 meter (yard) walk to the entrance to Metro Line B at Policlinico, then two stops to Tiburtina station. You can print out the entire map, or zoom in to print out the specific sections...or both

Have you asked your hotel? They would probably know better than anyone. It's surprising how many people don't think of doing that. Good luck.
