What's your favourite Venice blog?

Venice is my favourite "big" Italian city and I would like to explore some blogs about life in Venice and new sites to see. I am already very familiar with Venice, but never tire of visiting it and learning more about it, especially since my family is from the area. After some searching, I have yet to come across any great blogs. Monica Cesarato isn't bad... Any of your suggestions would be appreciated. Grazie!

This is a good one, and Katia knows her stuff.

And Phil Jones writes well, and is fun. He lives in Venice and has written a couple of novels set in Venice. He is a close friend.
The Venetian Game was published a year ago, Vengeance in Venice will be published April 15th.

Also Erla Swingle is good. She wrote a book about Venice for National Geographic.

Thanks Peter for recommending "The Venetian Game." I ordered it online and received it today. We look forward to the next book as well!

And Phil’s third book will come out next year around April. “The Venetian Masquerade”, continuing the exploits of Nathan, Hon. British Consul in Venice.
Phil’s a good friend, and we can see Phil’s likeness in Nathan. He is now scribbling away at his fourth book.
The launch party for “Revenge in Venice” is on May 12th, we have timed our ten day visit to Venice to attend.

Good stuff here. I am beginning my research as Venice will be included on my next trip to Italy, our 4th. Starting in Amsterdam, flying to Venice, then taking the train down the Adriatic coast, a couple days at Ascoli Piceno in Le Marche, ending up at Polignano a Mare in Apulia. Probably not until next spring.

I have not consciously avoided Venice up til now, but having visited Florence, Rome and Campania twice each, it's time to branch out. And more than one veteran poster on this forum says that done the right way (i.e. staying overnight and not letting the daytrippers ruin it for me) I should really learn to love Venice.

More questions to come!
