what's the scoop on Last Supper tours in September?

Hi, we will have just one day in Milan on a Monday in September, and I'm trying to find a tour to see the Last Supper and Duomo. Seems that all the tour groups either don't have any dates for September (but they do for October), or they don't offer the tours on Mondays. Is there something I'm missing? I haven't looked extensively yet, and thought I might save myself some time endlessly searching by asking seasoned travelers on this forum. Thank you in advance! Also, if I am going to be out of luck with those two attractions, I'd welcome suggestions on how to spend a day enjoying Milan before flying home the next morning.

Adriem, the Last Supper is not available on Mondays. The Duomo is open, however. We were just in Milan last week, and spent our Monday there at the Duomo, and especially the Duomo museum. The museum was great, and has evidently been greatly improved recently by the addition of bilingual descriptions of all the exhibits. And the Duomo is definitely worth your time.

We also visited the Canal District that day, which was mildly interesting.

Most museums are closed on Mondays, so you'll be limited. I think the Castello Forzesco might be open; I'm not sure. We went there on Wednesday.

I also recommend the church San Maurizio at Monastero Maggiori. It is covered with amazing frescoes, and has an attached araeological museum that we didn't have time to visit. But the church itself is wonderful. Check to see if it's open on Monday; it's worth a stop.
