Can anyone recommend a comfortable money/passport belt to wear under clothing?
I just use the one Rick sells - the plain one not the silk one. I do have sensitive skin and this one does not itch me.
I have used this one https://store.ricksteves.com/shop/p/silk-moneybelt and some days I realized it was on only when I was undressing for bed.
There are other styles, and like shoes, what I find comfortable may not be the best for you.
DH wears the 2 RS moneybelts interchangeably. I now have the pacsafe neck pouch. It's made from a lingerie fabric and is very comfortable.
I think whatever is comfortable for you. I have used either the RS silk money belt or silk neck wallet. My preference is the neck style. I keep my Passport & money in a ziplock bag. It helps to maintain the integrity in the holder.
Last trip I used RS silk neck wallet. It caused a little more lump under clothes than I liked but the silk was comfortable. This trip I'm using a Stashbandz under my waistband to even out the bulk. So far, walking around parks and the neighborhood to get in shape, it's comfortable and not noticeable.
The best one, is the one you have and use. Amazon only has about 5,346 to choose from.
Wear the waist belt one with the pouch in the small or curve of your back.
Way more comfy than in the front.
I like ones that have no fastener like a clip, but just elastic all the way round.
I nearly lost one down a loo in Italy once when the clip/clasp fastener suddenly came undone.
I like the hidden pocket one. It has loops which you use to attach to a belt. My pants are loose fitting enough that I can keep the pocket hanging around my upper thigh comfortably.
Another vote for the hidden pocket. I keep two passports, a debit card and any large bills in mine and never notice it's there.
I also use what used to be called a coin purse. Mine is a soft leather and has a divide in it to separate cash from cards and is easily kept in your front pocket.
I used this on our most recent trip and it was super comfortable. Most of the time I didn't really notice it. I used it just for money, but it could certainly hold passports, etc. I also liked that stuff inside didn't get wet from sweat. I had an old RS one in the early 2000's and if I had papers or anything in there the sweat would soak through the money belt and make stuff wet.

I prefer the RS neck pouch, but it requires wearing shirts and tops that cover up that bulge.
Jed, that’s the Stashbandz I linked above. I put every thing in small ziplock baggies. One pocket holds back up credit cards, one pocket for debit cards, back pocket for spare cash and CDC card, and front pocket for passport and global entry card. It distributes the bulk. I don’t use hotel safes; afraid I’ll forget something.
I use the leather coin purses that RS sells for daily cash and daily use credit card. It’s small enough to fit in my extra small Travelon cross body purse.
My husband likes the hidden wallet that attaches to his belt and hangs down inside his pants. After trial and error I use a silky neck wallet, but rather than wearing it around my neck where it creates a bump I put it over my shoulder and it hangs below my armpit. I use a safety pin to attach it to my bra strap. It’s very comfortable and I forget I’m wearing it. Of course both systems are for deep storage.
I forgot to mention that my husband and I both use the RS leather coin purses that horsewoofie mentioned for cash, coins and our daily use credit card.
I like the ones at REI. They fit nicely around my waist and I really comfortable.
I've been using the "Hidden Pocket" type for over 30 years. I prefer the old Eagle Creek ones.
