What's a close airport to cinque terre

There isn't a really close one, in order of closest to farthest away: Genoa/Genova (based on Bill's input, thanks to you, Bill)Pisa/GalileoFlorence/VespucciMilan LinateMilan Malpensa

Actually, Genoa is not a bad airport...its not more than 1 hour to the CT...and it has flights in from most of the connecting airports that would fly into Pisa.

Bill - Sounds like you've flown into Genova airport. How are the public transportation connections to the train station? I know the other 4 airports Kent mentions have very easy connections, but I've never used Genova. Thanks!

Ryanair says they fly to Genoa and the prices are great from Stansted.
However, I'm wondering if this is the correct airport.
Cinque Terre is beautiful. Good trip.
