What is the Best Way to get Advance tickets for Florence, Rome and Naples s

First time to Europe - Early October of 2008 - spending 3 days in Tuscany area then taking a cruise from Civitavecchia, so limited time in ports.

There seems to be several web sites to choose from to get reservations for:
Florence – Ufifizi /
Vatican Museum /
Naples – Museum of Archeology – Secret Room of Erotica /
Pompeii - Also heard there were special areas to get special permission to see

Any recommendations, comments, or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Tourism is way down in Naples. When I was there in June you didn't need a reservation to get into the secret room. It's not that risque either. Hilarious is a better description. Alas the Farnesi wing was closed for restoration. If no one is looking though, I heard that the tour guides just sneak behind the curtains for a quick peek.

You don't need a reservation to see Pompeii. Just take the Circumvesuviana commuter train (Sorrento line) to the Pompei Scavi stop (20-25 minutes). It lets you out practically in front of the ticket office. You board this train from downstairs in the Naples Central train station. If you go to Pompeii expect half of the houses to be closed, including the House of the Vettii.
