We are planning on traveling to Italy in June of 2022 and we are having trouble verifying what is needed for verification of COVID vaccine. We know that the EU has the green pass system but what is acceptable form of verification as an American. Thanks in advance!
Americans just need to show the CDC card. Of course, it's too soon to predict what entry requirements will be in place come June. I'd start checking in April as things are likely to change between now and June.
Today US citizens need their CDC card and to fill the dPLF form.
Nobody knows what will be needed in June 2022.
So the CDC card for museum entry as well. And yes I agree, it’s all fluid and will likely change before we travel.
We just got back from 2 weeks in Italy and had absolutely no problems when we showed our CDC cards as proof of vaccination everywhere we went. Suggestion - get one of the plastic sleeves that fit the card to protect it from damage, spills, etc.
Correct, the CDC card will be your proof of vaccine for all places it is required in Italy.
