What happened to the Venice Card

I have been trying to buy passes online and I am getting confused. Where is the Venice Card? On Venice connected you get transportation then another page has the Museum Card and it starts from the day you choose on the calender? I want to get transportation at the first day when we arrive then , toilet( lg crowds for Regatta and not taking chances) some museums starting the following day. I just can't figure it out.You have to get it all on a certain day.

There is a way to change the date for each service you select. But for the museum pass it doesn't matter. The museum pass is valid for six months from when you pick it up and for one admission to each museum. Single tickets are valid for three months.

You are generally better of with a vaporetto pass and a museum card. For the museums, also look at the Venice museum website http://www.museiciviciveneziani.it/?lin=EN

I got a better price there for the museums I wanted to see than on the Venice Connected website.

and if you need a toilet go into any cafe and buy a €0.90 espresso. You can happily use theirs.

There aren't that many public toilets in Venice. When using the included ones on the Card, you still have to find them, and queue. Much easier to use your espresso, and you get an espresso for your €0.90....

... and never leave a museum without using their usually very clean and free (well, included) toilets....
