Does your Cinque Terre and Portovenere Tour have a starting location? If it's Milano Centrale or close by, forum members seem to favor Hotel Garda and Hotel Berna which are very close. We've stayed at Hotel Berna and have been quite happy. Wonderful breakfast buffet. Plus, if you are flying into Malpensa, you can take the Malpensa Express to Milano Centrale and it's maybe a 5 minute walk to either of the hotels. Milan's Metro system is very efficient if you need to use it to get to your Last Supper meeting spot.

Can't help with Naples.

Easily done by Metro system. Short hop from Milano Centrale.

Where is your Da Vinci tour starting?

TBH, it seems like you are pushing it to have the Last Supper tour on the day you travel for your tour meet up. I know it's only 2.5 hours or so by train from Milan to Venice but you might need some flex time for travel hiccups and you'll have to allow time to get from the station to your tour hotel, check in, etc.

Hopefully your Last Supper tour is early morning. Otherwise you'll be scrambling to get to your Venice hotel and settled before the 4pm start of the tour. I'd say the absolute latest you should plan to arrive at Venice Santa Lucia station is around 2pm, and that's if your hotel is in the Rialto area. That means the latest train you could take is the one departing at 11:45 and arriving at 14:10. Your earlier options are 9:45 direct or 10:15 via Bologna, but neither of those probably works with your Last Supper tour. Also be sure to let the RS tour department know you'll be arriving last minute so your guide isn't left wondering where you are.

Edit: You might do a search for Naples hotels using the Search box at the top of the page. I seem to remember somewhat recent postings that had Naples hotel suggestions.

If it were me...I’d land in Milan and head straight for Venice. Recover a bit, wonder on your own a bit, go out to Murano, Burano, maybe daytrip to Padua...all while staying in Venice.

But that’s just my own thoughts.

I think the 11:45 train is your only realistic option, although the 10:15 train via Bologna does get you to Venice SL a half hour earlier. Hope all goes smoothly, and please do let the RS tour department know you won't be arriving at your tour hotel until shortly before the 4pm start.

Cinque Terre is a must see for us. If anything we will delete the last supper. That is the way I am leaning after reading everyone’s comments. Take the 7:15 or 8:15 train. Thanks for your help
