San Gimignano, Volterra, Pienza, Montalcino, Montepulciano. We even went to Rome from Siena once by Bus.

You can easily travel to the towns by bus from Siena.

I agree with Rudy from Siena you can take the bus, the 3 town of Montalcino, Pieza and Montepulciano can be all done in one day trip, they are small but enjoyable. Of course in the other direction you would visit San Gimganano and Volterra
