What about Italy in October?

I´d like to know how is Italy in October (that´s my free month for travelling)

I´d like to know it because one of my main ideas about going there is the opportunity of being in some of the beautifuls Italian beachs. Is it not too hot for it?

While Italy's hot in Summer, they do go through 4 distinct seasons. I don't know if the beaches will be going in October. If you go into Wikipedia and sign into a specific city, often the temperatures month by month are noted.
But in Tuscany, the farmers are in the middle of their harvest season in October. It'd be a great time to stay on an agriturismo. And the truffles are also coming in about that time.
October would be a glorious time to visit Italy.

Beaches are officially closed in October. If it is a warm day, you can go and you won't be completely alone on a beach, but there will be no services: no beach chairs, umbrellas, food etc. By September the Italians stop going to the beach.
