We are driving to Italy from Switzerland and do not want to deal with the congestion closer to Venice to park our car. We decided to go to Mestre, park our car and take the train. We are traveling at the end of June.Can you recommend a good and safe place to park our car for 3 days.

2 things - why do you have a car in Switzerland (land of the best transportation system in the world) and it only takes a few hours to train from Switzerland to Venice (via Milan) and the train drops you smack dab onto Venice Island which, I think, is your destination.

We are actually starting in Munich then traveling to Switzerland Italy Austria and then back to Munich. And we are excited to have the freedom of traveling by car so we can go where we want
