I will be in Parma for business in November and have to stay over the weekend. I’ve been to Parma many times, so I’ve pretty much been there, done that (company HQ). Any recommendations for cool towns to spend the weekend in the North, preferably by train ? I’ve been to Venice/Florence, so no need to go there.
Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!

Modena, Bologna, Ravenna, Ferrara if you stay in the region. In other regions Bergamo, Verona, Padua, Milan, Turin.
