I am planning to join a music tour next spring in Italy. I need to be in Turin on a Thursday in April. I always (because of my susceptability to jet lag) , plan to arrive a few days early for any tour I join. (I learned this after literally falling on my face in Rothenburg 20 years ago). Where would you go (given some age limitations i.e. no carrying or rolling the suitcase for more than a single block, etc.) for several days, even up to a week, before my tour begins on a Thursday in Turino. I have been to most of the major sites in Italy( including Milan, etc) before.
However, I have never been to the lake regions. Do you have any suggestions that might work for me? Jean
