Would love to get some recommendations for a sweet place to spend quite time not far from Rome, reachable by train, in February
Good wine can be a bonus, and beutiful views or some special bonuses are highly appreciated:)

Frascati is lovely and only half an hour from Rome. Consider that anywhwre in Italy in February will be less lively than the summer months. However you may have the same dates as carnival week There is usually a "pulcinella" parade in Frascati. If you stay in Frascati you will certainly be able to visit wineries, and the wine is very good value for money. There are some great restaurants and nice hotels. Ask www.wineanddineholidays.com ([email protected]) organize some experiences for you, such as cookery, wine tours, visits to all sorts of places such as the papal palace in Castelgandolfo. I suggest using Frascati as your base and maybe see a combination of wineries and heritage sites. For more info on Frascati Easyfrascati.com is very helpful.
