Wedding Vow Renewal Italy

My wife and I will be in Italy this summer celebrating our 10th wedding anniversary. I was wondering if anyone has insight or recommendations about wedding vow renewals in Italy, specifically the Sorrento/Amalfi Coast area? Since it will only be the two of us, we want to keep it simple and inexpensive but meaningful.

Where were you think of wedding vows? (I mean brand of church?) Do you have a current affiliation with a church or synagogue? Since a high percentage of Italy is catholic, it is easy to find a cathedral but don't know about the others. I have seen a few synagogue but few plain churches.

Simple wedding vow renewal, so nothing elaborate like renting a church, priest etc. Just simple wedding vow renewal.

Does not really matter. We're not looking for an official religious service or blessing. I'm not sure who does wedding vow renewals in Italy or what all is involved. Just trying to get some information about options, recommendations or insights.

Do you speak Italian? You could research the towns you're interested in to see if there are any protestant churches. I wouldn't be surprised if you'd turn up a small English church with an English speaking minister somewhere in the area. I'd even look up the pastor in your local catholic church to see if he has any connections with Italy if you can't find a protestant church or synagogue. Sounds like a fun research project.

Scott, My parents read their marriage ceremony every anniversary. Once when I was with them that day I got to read the minister's parts. Since among other things Dad is a retired United Methodist minister when it's just the two of them he does those as well as the groom's part. That was a wonderful experience. They consider that a renewal of their vows every year. So, if you just want to read through the service and read the minister's parts aloud together with each of you reading your own part, then a pew in any church at a time that no other service is going on would do. So would a private nook in a park or a private garden at wherever you are staying. These are just suggestions. If you want something more formal then that I am sure any of the links given will be of help. Have a wonderful trip and vow renewal.
