My Best of Italy book says to book Colosseum tickets at Coopculture.it, but this doesn't seem right. This seems like the actual site: https://ticketing.colosseo.it/ Can anyone confirm this?

Yes, that’s correct. The downside to the guide books is that, soon after they’re published, ticketing info is often outdated. Paris transit and the Colosseum are good examples of this.
