Trying to access the b-ticket.com/b-ticket/uffizi website & having difficulty. Anyone have information as to why & what is happening? Other favourable & honourable ticket agents to recommend? Will be visiting Florence one day in the week of September 27th and am aware the main 2 museums are closed on Mondays. Hopefully will be able to book before our departure. Thanks for any help.

Ok you need to call do not book online I called and got Reservation numbers from both the Uffizi and Academia I had to pay nothing and this is the 3rd trip there. there is a 3e booking charge when you get there and pay but you have no cash outlay before hand which is great if you don't show you are out nothing but you do have a reservation number to get right in. The information and booking desks are open during the museum opening times (from Tuesday to Sunday, from 8.30 to 19.00); the telephone booking centre (From th USA is 011 39 055 294883) is open from Monday to Friday from 8.30 to 18.30 and on Saturdays from 8.30 to 12.30. Phoning the booking centre, you will receive free information on opening times, exhibitions, admission charges as well as being able to book a visit in any of the Firenze Musei museums. There is a booking and advance sales charge of Euro 3.00. Booking means reducing waiting times to the minimum, and avoiding the queues that often characterise a visit to major museums and galleries. Hope this helps
