weather in Sicily in November

Has anyone had first hand experience in Sicily during November? I've been tracking the weather online for several months and the average temperature is listed as in the 60's during November. That's comparable to where I live, but 60 here means the wind is blowing like crazy and a coat feels good. When I lived in the NW I didn't need a coat when it was 60 but a wet suit. Just interested in hearing from someone who has been there and done that in November.

We traveled Sicily with our Grandson late last November and the weather was perfect-no coat needed after dark in either Palermo or Taromina, and every day (but one) was sunny but windy on the south coast.
Just be aware that Mt. Etna was totally fogged in during our entire stay near Taromina which was a disappointment for an 11 yo.
