I would like to know if the 85 degrees in Rome & Florence at this time of year is closer to a Napa Valley 85 or an Atlanta Georgia 85. In Napa I would need a sweater for the evening but in Atlanta I would need and airconditioner. Thanks for any help you can give me. Aileen
Rome GA = Rome IT. Maybe mid 60's at dawn.
Mostly likely closer to Atlanta as far as humidity BUT it could be cool and rain so be prepared for a little of both. Take the sweater.
We were in Venice,Florence,Ct and Rome last June.It was hot.I dont know which town the hot was like but it was hot.Nights were no cooler. We had air at each place we stayed so with a good nights sleep we got along well.
I agree with Ed from Pensacola. Roma in June is hot and humid like GA. Don't spend the afternoons touring the Forum or Colosseum. Instead relax in the Borghese Garden or in a shaded sidewalk cafe` sipping (overpriced?) drinks.
85 in Rome will feel like 85 in Atlanta, or worse. Not like 85 in Napa Valley. The humidity and dewpoint is what makes the difference between 85 in Rome and 85 in Napa Valley.
