So where is can we purchase tickets to see just the Giardino Bardino? I have searched high and low on web. Help can't find.
According to the web site (using Google translate):
The entry ticket valid for the day is cumulative with the Boboli
Gardens and the Porcelain Museum and may vary depending on the
temporary exhibitions that can be held in the museums during the year.
This would suggest you can't buy a ticket just for Giardino Bardini.
Congrats on your upcoming trip to Florence! Ah, Giardino Bardini... Love these gardens.
If you are going to be in Florence for 2-3 days, consider getting the Firenze Card. Giardino Bardini is included in the Firenze Card and would be an option for seeing only that garden. However, I would encourage you to reconsider the Giardino di Boboli. Both gardens are well worth visiting, and the cool thing is that there is a back exit out of Giardino Bardini across a street into a back entrance for Giardino di Boboli that cuts around Fort Belvedere. It's a unique way to enter the Boboli Gardens as you approach Palazzo Pitti from the rear of the gardens. I took this route at the recommendation of my Florence tour guide on the first trip to Florence, and it's one of my favorite memories.
Let us know if you have additional questions, and happy planning!
Thanks Joanne!
Thanks Lane!
We were in Florence in April and bought our tickets for both gardens at Giardino Bardino. We could have purchased tickets solely for Bardino if we had preferred. Bardino was truly spectacular with the wisteria in bloom! We took the back way to Boboli and have to say we were underwhelmed. Could have been that we were at the end of the day and the end of our tour and we were hot and tired. Still, we preferred the intimacy and views from Bardino. Have a lovely time!
You can just show up at the Bardini Garden and buy a ticket.
The day I went , right at the time they opened, I was the only soul in the entire garden, until I got to the top where there was a small film crew interviewing a man.
Keep in mind the garden rises up from the entrance, so if it's a hot day, it's really hot in there.
At the top, you go out of the gate, cross a quiet road, nd go into the Boboli Gardens at their highest point, on the same ticket.
That was in 2013, so I'm assuming the ticket process is the same.
So then it's downhill all the way to the exits at the bottom of Boboli.
The views are great from both gardens, at certain points.
Very enjoyable!!
