We used venicelink.com for a shared watertaxi which was affordable. I think they do private transfers as well. Enjoy!

We used https://www.vqtravels.com/ last summer for private water taxi from the airport to our hotel. I cannot recommend them enough! Excellent communication while making the reservation, clear instructions for pick-up, etc…. It was a wonderful way to approach the city!

I agree with ChristineH that https://www.motoscafivenezia.it/en/ is the way to go. We have used them many times and they have never let us down. If you let them know your hotel they will be able to get you to the closest possible dock. If I am remembering right they charged us just under 100 Euro for the trips to and from Marco Polo Airport. We arranged a 4:00am pickup due to an early flight and I think we had to pay a little extra but it wasn't bad at all.

It says transfers not available due to public events.
Does anyone know what the event is? Should I avoid travel during those dates. Thank you

looks like april 18 is easter monday, april 25 is liberation day and the feast of st mark. they are national and local holiday observances.
they may have a regatta of all the "boats" on the canal to celebrate.
hopefully a local from italy can tell you more here.
