Water taxi From St Marks to Marco Polo

Hello! Does any one have any experience using a water taxi to get to the airport. My flight is at 5:30am. I assume I have to leave by 3:30/3:45. Giving the water taxi 30 mins to get me to the airport. Another hour for checkin.

Is this possible? It does not seem common for people take any water taxis at this hour. I am concerned with missing my flight. My understanding is the water taxi will cost about 100-120 euros. Please help :)

Above company claims to offer 24 hour service.
"Consorzio Motoscafi Venezia was formed through the union of the leading taxi operators in town and now has more than 100 water taxis at its disposal, offering a service for transfers from and to Venice, in Italy, Airport and covering the entire lagoon 24 hours a day, every day"

I would setup this in advance though either by yourself or your hotel when you first checkin.
I would expect they will charge a surcharge for a pickup at such an hour.

Your flight is so early it must be the first flight out, you should rush through security when the airport I recall reading it was very sleepy at the early hours so arriving before 4 should be not needed but that is still a very early morning.

It is very horribly early flight. But my fiance and I decided it was worth the sacrifice and we would rest on the plane. This was something that we couldn't imagine excluding from our honeymoon. Luckily we can drop off our luggage at the Airbnb place at the very least. If no one occupies the place before we can simply check in early and rest :). We are heading to Santorini and it is crazy how few direct flights they offer. Our flight is 2hrs and 20 mins and nonstop. It was something that we had our hearts set on doing!

The other option is staying at mainland Venice. However, I feel that we might not get the same experience if we stay off the Venice island and constantly trip and and forth over. Correct me if I am wrong! I just figured to enjoy our stay in Venice more it would be fun to wander around and not be caught up trying to catch the train/bus back to mainland Venice.
