Hello all, We are staying in Lido and are leaving through Venice tomorrow but heard there will be a bus strike (on December 16th). I tried to look up the times but could not figure it out. Will the buses be down all day tomorrow or just in the morning? Any help would be so helpful for us to plan our trip! Thank you so much

This may seem obvious, but have you asked at the front desk of where you're staying? Or, if an apartment, asked the owner?

Niki, This is the only information I've been able to find concerning Buses and Trams on Dec. 16th: "Local Transportation personnel will be on strike for 24 hours, at different times depending on the specific location (no further details are available)." As the previous reply suggested, it would be a really good idea to check with staff at your Hotel or other "locals". Good luck!
