Sorry I can't speak to this particular tour, but I wanted to let you know we've taken several Walks of Italy tours and have be very happy with all of them.

I saw the one you did too, but putting them side by side I don't see much of a difference. But yours was 1 hour extra in time. My husband doesn't want to spend all day doing a tour so I was trying to find short and sweet!

Actually your tour is 1.45 min longer but you visit all the galleries. The 2 hour tour doesn't include that it seems. Which other tours from them did you do? I have to book Colosseum and Pompeii too.

We did Pristine Sistine and enjoyed it, but it was too long for us and frankly, we weren’t that interested in the Vatican Museum. If I had seen this one, I would have chosen it.

Thank you Steven! My coworker actually booked the longer one that the above poster posted and then opted for the shorter when she arrived. She said it was plenty, but to each their own. I wanted more opinions before booking!

I did Pristine Sistine as well, and while it was long and I wasn't extremely interested in the museum going in, I was happy it hit the highlights and I felt like I'd seen enough to convince me I didn't need to stick around any longer. I did the 730 start and was done before noon so it didn't take the whole day. Afterwards, I had a nice lunch, some gelato, and then had the rest of the afternoon/evening for some additional sightseeing.

Pretty sure this is the tour we did and were very pleased. We met our guide at 9 in the morning, had about 10 people in our party, saw the Sistine chapel first before it got so crowded and were done by noon. I would never attempt to see all of this without a guide and we felt the 3 hours we spent here were perfect...it is overwhelming without a guide and we were very pleased that we made this choice.

The other Walks of Italy tours we did were Caesar’s Palace/Colosseum in Rome and Afterhours Doges Palace/San Marco in Venice.

We also did Eating Italy Rome Sunday Tour of the Jewish Ghetto.

Hope this helps. All were good, informative tours. If I’m lucky enough to visit Italy again, i’d definitely use both companies again.

I'm glad to hear that Pristine Sistine was a good tour - I booked that for my family of 4 (including 2 teens), along with the Walks of Italy Pompeii & Amalfi Coast day trip, the Colosseum/Roman Forum tour and the evening Pasta Making class!

I didn't get to see the Sistine Chapel or the Vatican museum my last time in Rome - I was only there 2 days but have regretted that. Not missing the chance this time!

We did City Wonder Exclusive First Entry to Sistine Chapel and Vatican Museum - we were allowed in 30 minutes before any other tour groups and an hour and a half before the general public - beyond that, we were free to visit the Vatican Museum on our own or exit the SC by the right side door to go into St Peters. Neither are guided after that point. We enjoyed it

We did visit the Colosseum/Palatine Hill/Forum with Walks of Italy and also really enjoyed it

We did the Pristine Sistine and loved it. It's great to be in the Sistine Chapel early and I felt like the rest of the tour covered the highlights well.

We also did a Walks of Italy Colosseum and Forum tour that we enjoyed. A lot of the ruins need explanations to understand what they were. We got to go underneath the Colosseum and come on out on the floor, which was a cool experience.

In addition, I would recommend the Eating Italy food tour, we did Trastevere and the food was amazing.

Have a great trip!

Herfnerd: City Wonders told me that if I buy the Sistine and museum tour, I cannot use the right side door to go into St Peters. To use that door I have to buy the Basilica package.

Michelle
Was the tour you did called the Gladiator's gate tour?
Also, thinking of a food tour but will have a 14 year old picky eater grandson in tow. Do you think he might enjoy it as well?
Thank you
