Hi, I came across the website http://www.walksinsideflorence.it, which claims to be recommended by you. The website looked impressive, but I couldn't find any link to your recommendation. Are they really recommended by you?

Rick doesnt answer questions in these forums, fellow travelers do. I highly recommend you purchase RS Italy 2011 or RS Florence 2011 if you haven't already done so. Rick's current recommendations will all be in there. I'm not sure if it will be available in London, but I was able to borrow both books from my local library. Happy travels.

There is no link becasue the recommendation is in his book. At least it is iin my 2006 Italy book, under "local guides."

Hard to tell. Your link does not work. In the 07 Florence & Tuscan book that link is recommended under local guides. Get the current guide book and see if she is still listed.

Thanks, Amy, Lola and Frank. I appreciate your replies. If they were recommended in one of Rick's guidebooks, even if a 2006 version, I'm sure they'll be fine. It's reassuring. Amy, I will go to my local library and check if his travel books are there. Thanks again!!!
