Can anyone suggest a guide for a walking tour in Siena? I have tried contacting those listed in the RICK STEVES book but none are replying or show availability. I cannot tell if they are all completely booked or if they take December off from tours. I appreciate any suggestions or insight. Many Thanks
Tours by Roberto
Thank you. That is one I hoped to book but that is saying no availability the entire month of December.
If Tours by Roberto aren't available, you can try Go With Flo. Fiorenza (Flo) Bettini works with Robert. In 2018, I stayed in a B&B in Tuscany that her mother owned. During the pandemic, attended a number of virtual trips. She is knowledgeable and just delightful. You can contact her through her website: https://gowithflotuscany.com/.
We've only used these one time each in different towns, but Tours by Locals (here's for Siena https://www.toursbylocals.com/Siena-Tours) or Airbnb Experiences might work for you since they are individual guides with descriptions and reviews.
I went on a walking tour of Siena in September through Tuscan Escapes. It was the City and Duomo Tour and was excellent.

Did you try emailing Tours with Roberto? They were very helpful in getting us a guide last month for Siena. She was wonderful.
When in Orvieto the guide we saw recommended here was busy. Gave us another name. They were busy. They gave us a third name and she was great. The third time was a charm. Having a guide really helped make the cities come alive.
