Are you allowed to walk along the Mediterranean Beach in Fiumicino, Italy freely? Or is it privately-owned?

The oceanfront is public, but it is not particularly scenic. I wouldn’t make it a destination.

Actually I would stay in Rome and enjoy a last great evening. Little advantage to staying at Flumicino.
