It is not in the city. It's outside the city so you'll either need to take the hotel shuttle or a taxi to/from the city. This is the hotel I always stay at. I love it but some people would rather be in the city. If a 20 minute bus ride won't bother you I'd say to stay there. If you'd rather wake up in the city then you should look for something else. The hotel is at the top of the hill so all the restaurants are downhill. You can take a cab back if you don't want to do the up hill walk. There is also a good restaurant at the hotel (not talking about La Pergola which is great). Donna

What is it about that hotel that you find appealing, as opposed to finding a more centrally located place to stay?
