I purchased a flute made from alabaster in Volterra this summer, however, no beautiful sound (not even the basic music scale) comes out when I blow into it.
Did anyone else purchase this flute. Any experience on getting it to play properly?

I've never played that flute but I have a wooden simple system Irish flute that's probably kind of similar.
Have you ever played the flute at all? It's hard to know where to start giving advice without knowing how much experience you have playing the flute.
