Just read the latest RS travel news. While Volterra is a wonderful hill town, travelers should be aware that the Etruscan museum is closed. We specifically went to Volterra to visit the museum three weeks ago only to find it closed. The website states that it is a temporary closure but I do not find any info about a reopening date.
