Vodophone SIM card Venice

Arriving in Venice and need to pick up a SIM card, not eSIM as we want a phone function as well. Plus we also want to use the phone in Croatia. Yes we could go to the Vodophone store by the Rialto Bridge but was wondering if there are other stores to pick it up at a more convenient location in Venice. Not a fan of airport stores.
Thanks

I have also used TIM SIM cards a few times in Italy with great success.
An alternative to Vodafone.

For a SIM card when traveling in Italy, I switched from Vodafone to TIM and am happier with TIM. I have received more helpful service at TIM stores and find them more conveniently located than Vodafone. Not sure how TIM vs Vodafone affects your Croatia plans.

If you want to buy TIM, you can find a store near your location in the site below:

Both work well. Vodafone tends to excel for the 5G coverage, but they are both excellent choices. Coverage in rural areas vary by locations. People say TIM has better coverage in secluded rural areas, but I had two houses in a small Tuscan town, and in one Vodafone was the only option for signal reception, now in the only house I have, both work similarly.

Since Croatia is part of the EU, by law you will be able to use either without additional roaming charges. The provider (TIM or Vodafone) will obviously connect to the network of the local provider in Croatia, like Hrvatski Telekom (HT)

Not Venice…..but if anyone reading this is going to Sicily, Vodafone works well there, TIM does not.
