Vivaticket website in English? (for Last Supper tickets)

We arrive in Milan March 11, if all goes well. I’ve been looking at the website to reserve tickets for The Last Supper, per guidance seen on this forum. I just can’t figure it out. Unlike Colosseum or Vatican or Accademia sites, this one is stumping me. I’ve seen no change or updates since I started looking late November. Plus no option for English, so not sure I could figure a transaction. Am beginning to wonder if my system is wonky. Maybe I’m not finding the right place? Anyone have advice? Also, do any of the places I mentioned have ‘cancellation’ if Covid keeps messing with us?

You can go to cenacolovinciano.vivaticket.it

Then at the top x out of the cookies screen (accept). Then you will see at the top right either en or it for Italian.. Click on en for English. Or if there is an Italian flag do the down arrow and choose the British flag which will be English.
When I looked at the website, tickets are offered online for the Last Supper in 3 month segments. The current segment ends on Jan. 31. So try on Feb. 1 for a March 11 date.
Another alternative is to see the Last Supper through a tour that includes other things. We got tickets a few years ago through www.tickitaly.com and booked Milan, Last Supper tour tickets.
We really enjoyed seeing the Last Supper. It was a very moving experience, especially seeing the photos of the wall with the painting on it still standing after the World War II bombing of the church.

Both cenacolovinciano.vivaticket.it and cenacolovinciano.org take you to the same place. Just keep scrolling down to reserve a date when the next 3 month grouping of tickets are offered.

Five years ago when we were in Milan, I had been unable to book tickets through the official website, and booked a tour through Tickitaly. The tour was meh, but we got to see the Last Supper and that was wonderful. The tour should have been very interesting, but the group size was about 25 people, and the lady leading the tour had an ineffective microphone, so it was difficult to hear her. That, and many of the people were only there to see the Last Supper, so they talked and laughed through her presentation. But, we did get to see the painting, and that made it worth it.

Also, when I booked my ticket for this Wednesday, if you read the fine print before selecting your time slot, you will discover that english tours are offered 3 times a day. In my case I wanted the 3 oclock tour because I wanted the tour in english. So you pick the 3 oclock slot....THEN they tell you you've picked a special tour and ask if you want to pay another 8 euros and if you agree you get that time slot with the english speaking guide for 23 euros. A leap of faith as it were. If there is not an english speaking guide on Wednesday, I'll re-post.
And thanks to all who post here regularly...i have been lurking for months and am presently enjoying a 16 day Italy/France solo trip. So good to be back!

I have used Viva Ticket for tickets to The Last Supper twice and found it to be quite easy. The tickets sell out quickly so you'll need to see when your desired date(s) go on sale. You should wake up at (or stay up until) their opening time in Italy and get online right then to ensure you get the date/time you want. One time I did that and when I checked out there were only 3 tickets available, I needed 2. It will be helpful to go ahead and set up a Viva Ticket account now so when the time comes you can log in and check out faster. Also, you will only get a voucher from Viva Ticket. You will need to take that voucher to the ticket office and claim your actual ticket. The ticket office is just up the street from the church. When you're facing the entrance to The Last Supper the ticket office is to your left, on the same side of the street as the church and only a few paces away.
I have only been to Milan twice but I cannot imagine going without making time for The Last Supper.

Good luck!

Don't know if my husband and I were just extremely lucky or what but 3 years ago in May we tried to get tickets on line to see The Last Supper, no luck. The moring we arrived in Milan we went to the ticket office and asked if any tickets were available for that day, she said, "what time would you like?" We couldn't believe our luck. Because it didn't include a tour, which was fine, the tickets were cheap. We were so happy and certainly not disappointed.

I could not find the English version either.

As I read this, they have only released tickets through 31 January at this time. This has been since late October. Maybe someone can confirm? If so, I would expect them to release the next 3 months in late January, before Feb. 1.

Edit: here you go:

organizer8, thank you for the specific instructions for getting to the "EN" version. And thanks to everyone else's comments too. I had been watching the website for a while via ipad, but on ipad the "EN" choice wasn't shown. So finally I got on PC and was able to get to English. But still, the last date for booking is end of January. So I guess I'll keep checking for next batch of time slots to open up.

Lola, you may be having the same problems that I did, with device and dates.
