Can anyone recommend a site where there are Vivaldi concerts in the evening or late afternoons in Venice on Wed. or Thursdays or Fridays in October. I understand there are alot of them, but any recommendations. Looking for reasonable tickets. Thanks

I second the previous recommendation. My daughter and I went to one of their concerts in June and it was fabulous. It was one of the highlights of our trip. The musicians are so 'in to their music' and the setting in an old church near the Accademia bridge is beautiful.

We dropped by the church where they are held in the morning and were able to buy tickets for that night. That was in June, so it should be no problem in Oct.

We were at Chiesa di San Maurizio San Marco 2603 30124 Venezia for the musical instrument display when we picked up advertisements for Interpreti Veneziani. We were fortunate to get up very close (second row) for the show and show it is. Please pay VERY PARTICULAR attention to the principal cellist-he is not to be missed anywhere in the world. I won't say anything more. There are a very few places to catch a pickup dinner near the bridge. This is Vivaldi's old church. enjoy them. best dick

Fredrica, as I recall, my Hotel was able to provide my ticket for the Vivaldi concerts. They had a poster advertising the concert beside the front desk, and I asked if they could arrange a ticket. It was delivered to the Hotel in a few hours.
