I'm looking at purchasing tickets to the Duomo. I'm on the official website and I have a question. It says that tickets are valid for three days from the date selected for the visit. Will I be able to break up the visits to the different sites? Example: Museum one day and Duomo and Terraces another, or do I have to do everything in one day? Any other advise about visiting the Duomo and Milan would be appreciated! Thank you!
Be sure you do the rooftop visit. It was a highlight for us. We bought a ticket that included the elevator up, but it’s roughly 250 steps going down (by my count).
Agree with Susan. Definitely prioritize the rooftop. Really cool to see the architecture much closer!
You probably don’t want to-and may not be able to- split the rooftop from the church itself. If you buy the rooftop and church combo ticket the ticket scanners will direct you to the rooftop entrance. And When you descend from the roof you exit into the church. I don’t know if you can visit the museum on a different day. I know you can go later the same day.
Thank you everyone. Yes, we will tour the terraces and the Duomo at the same time. I was just wondering if we can do the museum on a different day and if anyone else has done that.
Back in June, I visited the museum the day after the Duomo with no problems. I loved the rooftop!
