Visiting Rome this Summer

I’m thinking of going to Rome this summer. I want to visit all the iconic places like the Colosseum, the Vatican, and of course the Borghese Gallery and Villa. I’m also curious about visiting the zoo in Villa Borghese. Where can I find Villa Borghese zoo tickets, Bioparco zoo tickets? If anyone has good tips or advice for a successful trip, I'd appreciate it! Thanks!

With the Pope's Jubilee this year, I would recommend visiting somewhere else than an extra-crowded Rome in the summer heat. Are you interested in anywhere else?

Welcome to the forum -
Here's all the information you need for Bioparco:

I can't imagine you'd need to purchase tickets for this in advance. We haven't been to this zoo, and reviews on Trip Advisor are mixed so I'd read through them to see if this is something you want to spend time/money on.

Rome is always busy in the summer, probably more so with the Jubilee, but I've also read that many are avoiding the city for this reason. I probably would not go at Easter, but it wouldn't stop me from going in the summer if that was the only time I could go. A good strategy would be to see the popular sights early in the morning and book your tickets and/or tours, along with your accommodation as early as possible.
