Help with food tours? They seem really expensive.
They are expensive but we loved ours. It was Food tours in Parma with Laura. It was just my husband and I and she picked us up in Parma. We visited family run parmigiana place, then prosciutto then had lunch then a small balsamic maker followed my a visit to a local vineyard. We were able to talk to all the owners ( me in Italian) and it was a fantastic day well worth the money. We were the only people in each of the places except for the restaurant.
We did the same tour with Laura. Loved it. Highly reccomend.
I will add my vote to the food tour with Laura. What I didn’t realize when I booked is that it’s a private tour. I felt better about the cost when I realize that. And, the Parmesan factory and balsâmico house alone are so great, they make it worth the money.
Try Toursbylocals.com. I don't remember it being expensive for two of us to do the meat/cheese/vinegar/lunch tour.
