HI:
We arrive in Milan on March 10, before heading to Florence,we were going to take the train to Lake Como, any experience with this area in March? Any recommendation for hotels this time of year. I am finding many are closed.

It’s winter. Cold and short days. I’m sure there will be hotels available in Bellagio. Hopefully you’ll run into some sunny days.

You may have luck in Lecco or Varenna. Try hotels there. Another option is AirBnB as those are individually managed (more or less) and may be more flexible in early March for accommodation.
