Visiting Italy during Easter week

Hi Everyone,

We will be going to Italy next March 2016. We don't want to deal with the Easter crowds in a big town, so we'd love to find a medium sized town that will have a procession we can see as well as other Easter week church activities including mass on Sunday. Does anyone have any suggestions? We were wondering about Siena, Rapallo, or Cinque Terre?

Thanks for your help :)

Mary

Savona (city in Liguria)
Sora in Latium (town not far from Rome)
Procida in Campania (island off Naples)
Radicofani, (small village south of Siena)

These are some of the famous processions for Easter.
An Easter mass will be in every church.
