Visit Milan?

We will spend 6 days of our honeymoon in Italy. We have a timeshare outside Turin. We plan to spend the first two days in and around Turin. Days 3 & 4: we planned to take the train to Rome spending an evening and the next day sightseeing in Rome, and then coming back on the train on day 5 (stopping to spend a few hours in Milan). But I am now debating whether it is worth it to try and spend a few hours in Milan, or instead if we should take advantage of our time in Rome? We could have an extra half day in Rome, if we skip our stop in Milan. Any thoughts?

Since you are in Rome I would stay in Rome and skip Milan just for convenience sake. However, I do think Milan is worth the stop should you decide to do so. The cathedral is the fourth largest in the world, the Galleria is worth a visit along with the Last Supper which requires advance reservations. Save Milan for your next visit.

Milan or Rome? Rome by a mile. Milan is a nice enough city and worth a visit if you are in the area, but most people would not choose it over spending time (of which you have precious little) in Rome.

PS - you do know how long a train ride it is between Torino and Rome right?
