Hello, My bank is td bank. I have a debt card (Visa) that I plan to use to withdraw money in Italy. However, my concern is that the TD Bank card does NOT have the Star or Plus symbols. Has anybody had luck with td bank cards in Italy? Thank you so much.

My Bank of America Visa debit card doesn't have the PLUS logo either, and it's worked fine in every ATM I've used in Europe. I think they just don't put the PLUS logo on every card anymore.

Charles, I didn't realize that TD Bank operated in the NYC area. You might check with them and discuss your options for withdrawing cash while in Europe. Usually travel funds must be in chequing account with a four-number PIN. Also, it would be a really good idea to pack along a "backup" ATM card, in case there of any problems with the primary card.
