Vintage Shopping in Milan

I have one day in Milan mid September to do some vintage shopping. I love the history of fashion and would love to come home with some thing special but i don’t have the budget for couture . Any recommendations?

I've not been in Milano is more than 20 years. When I stayed there, IL SALVAGENTE was a fabulous address for designer clothing and shoes from past collections. I remember scooping up a dress and sandals from Alaia, a bag from Valtrexa, among lots of other stuff. The recent reviews are not great, but maybe worth checking out.....but it's not vintage, as in clothing from decades ago...maybe ask when you get there if it is worth the trip.

Hi, Giangilberto from Milan, so, as for the Navigli market, it takes place exclusively on the first Sunday of the month on the banks of the Naviglio Grande. There are stalls of all kinds, including many selling vintage clothing. Otherwise, in the Navigli area, there's another shop that's been around since I was a child, called "Lo Specchio di Alice," on Corso di Porta Ticinese 64.
Here are some others that have sprung up over the years in Milan:
Vintegia
Via Plinio, 13, 20129 Milano;

ManiaVintage
Via Fratelli Bronzetti 11, 20129 Milano;

Vincent Vintage Bijoux
Via Lazzaro Spallanzani, 11, 20129 Milano, this one in particular houses an endless collection of period jewels and costume jewellery, with a particular reference to the Georgian period;

Madame Pauline Vintage
Foro Buonaparte 74, 20121 Milano;

Groupies
Via Gian Giacomo Mora, 7, 20123 Milano;

20134lambrate
Via Conte Rosso, 22, 20134 Milano.
