My wife and I will be visiting the areas of Taormina and Palermo this August. Does anyone have good information regarding easily accessible vineyard tours that don't cost and arm and a leg for a 1/2 day tour?

Oh my Gosh, how many times are you going to ask the same question? You should contact the webmaster and have the duplicates removed.
What do you consider an arm and a leg? An amount will be helpful.

Gambino Vineyard is near Taormina. I've been there twice and it's spectacular. Google them and find driving directions. They also have a facebook page. I used a private guide out of Taormina for this, and it was part of a full day tour including Mt. Etna, and a honey farm. I don't know what the wine tasting costs, but they serve lovely appetizers, salami, cheeses, olives, etc. If you'd like to use the guide they're legendofsicily.com They also rent apartments. I've used them for several trips and never disappointed with apartments or Bnb's etc and the guides are awesome!
