We will be staying in Montalcino for 4 days in October. I'd heard of a vineyard/farm called Solatio Organic Farm that includes all of the above with the dinner prepared by his family. Unfortunately its 1 hr from Montalcino & we will not have a car (drinking & driving :(
Can anyone suggest a vineyard closer to Montalcino that offers the same. We would take a taxi. We heard those are the best places to taste the wine rather than a winery. I am aware of Fortezza de Montalcino but that appears to be in a winery/gift shop/restaurant setting. We'd like to be out in the countryside amongst the grapevines.
Sure there has to be more places like Solatio. Googling has not produced anything.
