village to village hiking trip in late Nov

Hey all,

We're thinking about traveling to Rome & surrounds in late Nov, and would like to plan a multi-day hike between a few villages. Does anyone know any great routes for a trip like that?

Thanks!!

The Via Francigena pilgrimage path to Rome (from Switzerland) might work. You could look at itineraries for self-guided walking on this path offered by companies such as Mac’s Adventures for ideas on the route. Here is their map of the last stage of the walk, starting in Montefiascone and ending at Rome:

You could either use that as a template for planning, or book the trip and let them take care of the details. I believe they will customize it to meet your wishes (like a shorter trip than the 8-day one they propose).
