Does anyone know of any reliable companies that rent villas in Sorrento? We're looking for a place that holds about 10, has a pool, a view, and we can walk to town (is that too much to ask??)

You can't beat this place for location and views. Not an entire villa but a number of various sized apartments in an old clifff top villa sharing a panoramic terrace and small swimming pool.

Hi Lori, We stayed at Villa Terrazza right on the cliff above the harbour for the jetfoils and cruise ships. The HUGE oceanside terrace (with small pool) offers a panoramic view of the Golf of Naples and Mt. Vesuvius. Plenty of room for a large group to dine or party and even weddings have taken place on the terrace.It is a historic palazzo divided into apartments and you can rent as many of them as you need. Andrea, our host speaks English beautifully and was very helpful during our stay. His classic, wood-hulled cruiser (pictured)is available for tours as well. The villa is a close walk up the hill to the center of town. When you get to the website www.villaterrazza.com; there are many Tripadvisor reviews. When you see the photograph on the Tripadvisor site, the pale yellow and white multilevel buiding that looks like a wedding cake is Villa Terrazza. We hope to return to Sorrento for a longer visit with our friends and plan to stay there again.
