Do you have a recommendation for a house/villa, for a family of ten persons, within a mile or less walk from the center of Sorrento? Thank you.

You can try searcing vrbo (vacation rental by owner) and also their parent company Home Away. I've rented apartments through vrbo and Home Away. I think I remember seeing some villas for large parties on Home Away. Good Luck!

Hi Lois, We stayed in a beautiful villa cliffside above the marina where the hydrofoil ferries dock; right below the town center with an incredibly large terrace. www.villaterrazza.com An USA couple were staying there with their family and using the terrace for their wedding ceremony. We only rented a room for 3 nights but the owner showed us around the villa. Incredible deck overlooking the Bay of Naples. Short walk uphill to the main plaza, shops, restaurants etc. Usually rents by the week or longer but we were there in early Oct, so were able to stay a shorter period. Owner Andrea very pleasant to work with and speaks English beautifully. He also offered a boat tour to Capri on his classic motorboat moored out in front of the villa but we didn't have enough time.
