I am staying in Trastavere close to train station . I will have time to run Wednesday morning... Can I take bus here to run? Is it ok to run to get there or just there? Any thoughts on running in Trastavere appreciated. Thanks.

Perfectly fine to run there. Take the 871 from the Trastevere Train Station to get you near the closest pedestrian entrance to the park, at 1 Via di Donna Olimpia. See Google Maps Directions - Transit Option for more info.
