Villa d’Este and Hadrian’s Villa

We will be in Rome during the first week of November. Both sites look like they are largely, if not entirely, outdoor experiences. Considering the location, vertical landscape and time of year, I’m leaning toward the “it’s not worth it “ school of itinerary planning. Thoughts?

If it is a nice day, it is something to see. Lots of walking to see the location, but gives you an idea about how they "retreated" from Rome.
